So, what exactly is Momentum Minutes?

Thanks for asking, friend! I created “Momentum Minutes” to Shift the Way We Show Up in our communities, in the eyes of our elected officials, society, and through the law-making process. My goal = help us build futures that promise pride and protection for all.

Y’all, I even made an official video sharing more about this Purpose Project. In the words of Caresha, I care about Civic Engagement "Real Bad". 😂

Why Now? Why #MomentumMinutes?

This was birthed in my spirit in December 2020 as an extension of my seven-year career as a government communicator, Director of Communications for a state municipal association, and my affinity to creatively connect people to each other and essential issues. Who am I connecting? Us – We the People – to our leaders and the issues that matter most to them!

While working in local government, I saw elected officials do uplifting and transformational things in their communities. But I always knew they would have a much greater impact if they heard from us — my friends with ideas, dreams, and influence. Seriously ... what if we were at the table?

So, here it is! Here’s my contribution to our Democracy and culture. I hope that the fast facts and monthly content I create will enlighten, encourage and give you the confidence to do your part to contribute to a reflective and engaged electorate.
